The Donkey Sanctuary’s Annual Memorial Day is taking place on Saturday 5 October 2024.
Each year, the Sanctuary holds an annual Memorial Day service on or near the feast of St Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals. During this day, it's an opportunity to remember those people and pets whose names are inscribed on plaques and memory walls/boards around the sanctuary.
Flowers are laid out on the memorial walk, which will be live-streamed from The Donkey Sanctuary and available for all to view. HHO community members who cannot make it to our Animal Blessing Service may be interested in viewing the Sanctuary's livestream.
