Owning and Grounding Workshop Success!

Our very first Safguarding workshop was a great success!

We gathered on the 12th of November in the Zoom space to do the Owning and Grounding Workshop where the below video intro was recorded and a time of sharing was facilitated.

From this space we dicerned together that Lent 2024 will be a time of focus on the Being Together expectations of behaviour, widely adopted in the Anglican Church of Australia, and celebrated as our guiding principles for community life at Holy Hermits Online.

As part of this focus we will:

• Have a sermon series to introduce each of the safeguarding principles at weekly worship,
• Use the Inclusion and respect resource at our mid-week study,
• Have an intentional focus on the theme of the week in the Friday send outs,
• And look for other ways to encourage one another in the way we look after each other, especially the young and vulnerable people in our gathered spaces.
