Christmastide Virtual Chapel Outreach!
This year HHO is outreaching at Christmastide via our Virtual Chapel Ministry!
Inviting community members and wider communion members to make use of our Holy Hermits Online Virtual Chapel to light a Christmastide lantern in memory or dedication and share a prayer card with loved ones as a gift at Christmas.
Lovingly crafted, this space is for all of us, especially any who have need of digital respite during the festive season which can easily lead to frazzled senses or heavy hearts.
Alongside this offering we hope that word of our community space may reach many who may have need of a digital community, to belong for a season or as their regular spiritual home online.
We gather online to make Church accessible and inclusive and experience the love of God through our active ministries and opportinities for members to serve and be together.
Church is a lived experience at HHO and we are very proud of what God has built over the last 6 years while we have been inhabiting the digital space.
We hope that this project and offering for Christmastide may be nourishing and bless you this coming season!
Rest in the beautifully crafted digital space
Spend time dedicating a lantern in the Christmastide chapel by pressing the buttons on the right side of the screen. Lanterns and candles linger for a day in the space.
You can name the lanterns and drag them to where you would like them to be in the chapel.
You can then press the yellow 'ignite' button for a living flame to appear on your lantern.
Send loved ones an email message using the 'send prayer card' button to let them know you lit a lantern or candle for them.
You can use the donate button to make an offering to our HHO ministries. We plan to use some of the funds raised to donate to an animal charity in the New year.
