St John's Cathedral Mothers' Union (MU) warmly invites you to attend a gathering to discover your Cathedral MU projects.

MU members each have the responsibility for social issues and action in their own area.

We are also active within the general community and with other Dioceses and MU Branches.

One of the aims of the Anglican Mothers Union of Australia (AMUA) is to promote conditions in society favourable to stable life and to the protection of children. This drives our local activism by our support of several organizations, such as Hope in a Suitcase for children entering into foster care and Zephyr Education who provide support for children who change schools because of domestic violence.

Guest speakers:
Robin Ray,
Australian President, AMUA
Glynis Jenkins, Prayer and Spirituality Diocesan Coordinator
Diane Thomson Overseas and Northern Outreach Coordinator

There will be time for Q&A and morning tea will be supplied.

RSVP: Glynis Jenkins (email: gjenkins@stjohnscathedral.com.au) or through the Cathedral Office.

The Cathedral MU group gathers in the Cathedral at 10am on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Please feel free to just turn up.

A number of parishes no longer have MU branches and this is one way to discover a new direction for MU based at the Cathedral.
