Our very own Rev'd Selina is coming to celebrate our 4th Birthday with us at our Teddy Bear Service as our preacher on the 20th of October.

Holy Hermit St Gall inspires many to honour "Teddy Bear Sunday", when members of community are invited to bring teddies or plushies to worship.

We have the original Teddy bears picnic march song (1939) when we are invited to dance our bears along on screen.

We also have time for sharing stories about our bears/plushies at Fellowship after worship.

***All plushie animals are welcome - doesn't just have to be a bear!***
***If you don't have one of those either you could make one out of something you have at home! *** Here's a video on how to make a teddy bear out of a towel step by step.

Rev'd Sel is well known to our community and has offered a great talk on the Imposition of Ashes on Ash Wednesday as part of our Study Group Guest Teaching series earlier this year.

With a wonderful sense of humour and big heart Rev'd Sel offers ministry at the Cathedral as a Minor Canon with particular focus on caring for the rainbow community.

Please pray for Rev'd Sel as she prepares the homily and gathers with us:

Lord Jesus, when you speak there is light and life. Please speak through all our preachers, especially Rev'd Sel, as she offers her ministry gifts to our community. Holy Spirit, please inspire her in preparation and in delivering the sermon. Creator, make us ready to welcome her and hear your word spoken through her. We ask these things in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
