In our Weekly Worship services there are so many ways that our members can offer their ministry gifts. 

Serving Roles include:

  • Welcoming each Zoom participant in the 15mins before service starts
  • Leading worship as a Licensed Liturgical Assistant
  • Broadcasting the service slides and music so everyone can experience the liturgy on their screen
  • Offering Tech Support by being ready as back up for the broadcaster and helping manage muting/unmuting and the chat
  • Reading the lessons
  • Leading the prayers
  • Facilitating Fellowship after the service where we get to linger for reflection and catch up

There are also behind the scenes Serving Roles too:

  • Curating music and sending YouTube URL links to be added to our worship library
  • Preparing the liturgy (putting the powerpoint slides together)
  • Selecting music for the service from the curated list
  • Proof reading the service
  • Composing the prayers

This 'Open day' hour will be spent talking through these roles so that everyone gets a chance to learn more about them and explore if they are being called to try a new role, a different role or renew their commitment to a role/s.
