What a wonderful update I have to give you dear ones!
With our focus on increasing our generosity within our community and encouraging more giving through our offerings, we have seen a great outcome in the bank account this month.
I just finished tallying up the offerings and we raised $3,050.56 AUD during the month of June!
Our Goal for June was $2,500 AUD. We surpassed it!!!
Our aim is to increase our goal each coming month up to $3,500 AUD by the end of the year. To have come so close to this in the first month of our giving drive is sensational!
$3,500 AUD will sustain our Admin officer role and meet our other expenses each month. If we can sustain this just through offertories alone - this puts us in a great position to creatively seek other funding for our clergy stipend elsewhere.
Thank you so much to all who have responded to our call for Urgent prayer and giving needed for future HHO!
For all who have prayerfully considered:
- increasing their existing offerings,
- pledging to make new regular ones (weekly or monthly),
- donating one off sums,
- bequeathing to HHO in estates,
- praying regularly for our sustainability,
- it is making a big difference!
Our continued focus will be to keep sustaining this rise in giving into the future and reaching toward our goal.

A One-off Gift:
Giving a one-off gift can help to create great momentum too.
Maybe you’d like to consider us as you are drafting up your will. With such a gift you will create a legacy of compassion and hope and allow HHO to continue offering those who can’t engage with Church in person a place to belong.
How to phrase this:
“I give and bequeath (x) percent of my estate, free from all duties to the Corporation of the Synod of the Diocese of Brisbane for the general charitable and religious purpose of Holy Hermits Online, and the receipt of the Diocesan General Manager shall be a sufficient discharge to my executor or trustee.
