Our New Archbishop Elect!

I am thrilled to be sharing the news that we have a new Archbishop Elect for the Anglican Church of Southern Queensland!

Please read Election of a new Archbishop (anglicanfocus.org.au) for more information announcing that our very own Bishop Jeremy Greaves is to become our new Archbishop in December this year.

This was shared at mid-day today so is still very new, and comes directly after the Northern Region Clergy Conference this week, where Bishop Jeremy led his clergy in a time of great learning, collaboration and fellowship together at Noosa Heads.

Loving God, bless Jeremy, now called to be Archbishop of Brisbane; fill him with your truth, and clothe him with holiness, that he may preach your word, and care for your people; Give him compassion and wisdom, Sustain him with your Spirit and inspire him with vision. We ask in the name of the one who calls, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
