Hi Digital Faith Artists!
A wonderful creative opportunity has come up as we begin to prepare for our upcoming Mini-retreat with the 5 English Mystics which will happen at the beginning of September.
The retreat is being facilitated by our Guest Preacher Father Kevin Goodrich (who visited us in 2022 and delivered this fab sermon introducing us to Holy Hermit Walter Hilton: Hermit Ministry, Our Ministry).
It will feature 5 English mysics, 3 of whom are Holy Hermits we already remember:
The other two are Margery Kemp (on our list to remember when we can make a page for her too) and a mystery mystic (how exciting!) who wrote The Cloud of Unknowing - Wikipedia.
We would like to advertise our retreat widely and plan to share a bit about the 5 mystics in some posts and plugs starting on the 2nd of August (5 weeks away from retreat).
That means we need 5 images to share - one of each of the mystics (who knows what the mystery mystic could look like? Are they masculine or feminine? Are they old or young? Are they writing in nature or in a cell? do they have a companion animal?)
So let's get creative on Padlet and make some artworks for us to choose from, to help promote this wonderful retreat and study we will get to engage with alongside Father Kevin!
