Seeking our new Admin Officer

The flourishing partnership between Holy Hermits Online, St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane and The Episcopal Diocese of Texas has led to the opportunity for the new position of a part-time administration officer. This two-days a week position will assist the clergy and people of Holy Hermits Online with the day-to-day running of the online community.
Holy Hermits Online offers space to gather, worship and live in community online, along with enabling members to discern and exercise vocational ministries as the Body of Christ. The active community life holds many administrative responsibilities, all of which are currently managed by clergy and volunteers. The Administration Officer role will support these areas and thereby free up clergy resources from administrative activities to engage with the extra work of partnership from 2023 to 2026.
The admin officer has the chance to witness God’s mission in the online space being expanded by faithfully attending to the tasks listed in the Position Description available for download below.

Prior to appointment being made after applications close on the 31st October, there is a discernment process which involves 2 x Zoom interviews, a disc profile and 1 x in-person interview at St John's Cathedral Brisbane.
